“The Island of Time is an imaginary place, between the sky and earth, where time dissolves in the silence of light. I see time as a process of changes, alterations, construction and destructions of everything that surrounds us. Our being situated in the world is essential to understanding our experience of time. This series of works explores how one perceives changes in time, unique to each of us and each with a personal island of time.”
Jörg Bräuer, for Spazio Nobile, on the cover of TLmag #32, November 2019.
